How this content is made
The pages on Explore Tatra are researched and drafted with the help of AI, then reviewed and edited by a human before publication. We are telling you this up front rather than burying it, because you deserve to know how what you are reading was produced.
No page goes live straight out of a model. A person reads the draft, checks the practical details, rewrites what reads like generic filler, and has to actively approve it before it can be published. That review step is built into our publishing process, not left to good intentions.
What that means for you as a reader
AI-assisted drafting is good at organising practical information and bad at knowing what is currently true. So:
- Practical details carry a confidence tag. "Verified" means we found it in a specific, checkable source. "Check locally" means it is plausible but we have not independently confirmed it. Treat the second kind with suspicion.
- Prices, hours and timings are estimates. They change often. Every table of them carries a review date so you can see how stale it might be.
- We do not claim first-hand experience we do not have. If a page does not say someone went somewhere, assume nobody did. We will not invent a personal visit, a tasting note or a trail report to make the writing sound more authoritative.
What we will not do
We do not fabricate prices, reviews, ratings, opening dates, transport schedules or trail conditions. We do not publish AI-generated photographs presented as real pictures of real places — every photo on this site is a real photograph, and where no genuine photo of a place is available we leave the space empty rather than fill it with something misleading.
Errors
Despite the review step, some of what is here will be wrong or will go out of date. That is a limitation of the format, not an excuse. If you spot something, tell us at exploretatra@gmail.com and we will fix it.
